Rubik Rug by STC Studio for Cattelan Italia, 2015
Manufactured in Belgium by Cattelan Italia and designed by STC Studio, this behemoth of a rug is made of cotton and chenille. A geometric pattern design runs across the rug with a gradual tonal shift, see second last image for the full design. It also has some really nice intricate stitching and textural details that make it quite special.
In excellent condition, it has only ever been used as display stock at Misura where it currently retails for over $2000. It has since been professionally cleaned.
